Longest Kuchipudi Nrutyam Performance At High Altitude In Kedarnath For 1 Hour 30 Minutes
This is to certify that Vandana Dance Academy from Tadipatri, Andhra Pradesh, has achieved a world record in the category of Kudipudi Nrutyam. On May 13, 2024, six students from Vandana Dance Academy performed Kuchipudi Nrutyam in front of Kedarnath Temple for 1 hour and 30 minutes, from 7:00 am to 8:30 am. The performance took place in extreme conditions at -2 degrees Celsius. Prior to the performance, all participants trekked 24 km over 19 hours to reach Kedarnath Temple, situated at an altitude of 3583 meters above sea level, where oxygen levels are 40% lower. They began their journey from Gaurikund, braving frozen water and challenging terrain. The guru of this event is Palagiri Vandana. The students of this dance academy and the whole team were there to create a world record. This world record was confirmed on June 23, 2024. The event was co-organized by RK Cinema Studio's, Tadipatri, Anantapur District, Andhra Pradesh. The participants included Gangavaram Venkata Sai Mytrhi, Thotamsetty Joshetha, Tanagala Gnana Vardhini, Chalavadi Sri Navya, Desu Sahitya, and Sake Niharika.
